The Opportunity

Ensures the operation of assigned caseload in accordance with agency mission and vision, Indiana Rules for Licensure, ICF/ID, and Medicaid Standards.

Qualifications: (The following statements represent the minimum experience and training standards which will be used to screen applicants, provided that equivalent substitutions will be permitted in case of deficiencies in either experience or education.)

-Possess a BS or BA in a related area (social work, nursing, education, etc.)

-Prefer one-year experience supervising individuals with developmental disabilities (QIDP qualified).

-Possesses effective leadership skills with the ability to oversee the work of others.

-Ability to work as a team member in cooperative relationships with professionals and DSP’s.

-Possesses good organizational skills with the ability to develop and implement program record keeping systems.

-Ability to apply basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculation of money.

-Ability to read and write reports and business letters.

-Ability to effectively communicate with individuals having developmental disabilities, staff, and the public.

-Ability to successfully pass training and remain certified in the following within 90 days of employment: First Aid/CPR, Medication Administration and Positive Intervention Techniques.

-Ongoing proof of automobile liability insurance (due to business travel between locations and as needed for consumer transportation).

-Maintains a valid driver's license (including three years of driving experience) with acceptable driving record.
